If you’re hungry, almond butter and oats contain a high amount of healthy fats that will sustain you until your next meal. If you’re craving sweets, the dark chocolate chips and honey will surely hit the spot. And, if you’re bored, well this will give you about two minutes worth of stimulation.
Self care is more about being introspective and understanding what parts of your life need to be improved in order to continue being happy. Sometimes, this is taking time to process your thoughts and emotions in an effort to de-stress over time and accept your hectic day-to-day life. Others, it’s taking time to be selfish and care about your physical body.
Anyway, between comically oversized sunglasses and religious SPF application to overpriced serums and more face masks than a normal human would ever realistically go through, skincare has quickly become a huge part of my day to day routine...Unfortunately, try as I might, I’ve yet to discover a way to fight time. Getting old sucks for everyone regardless of wealth, status, or skincare regimen.
I live like most twenty-five year olds live; I wake up late, I swear I’ll go to bed early tonight, I go to work, I spend eight hours thinking of ways to avoid doing my job, I come home, I try to make it to the gym once in a while, and then I stay up just late enough that I’m exhausted by the time I have to do it all again in the morning.
